So, you've voluntarily stumbled onto this blog. Coincidence? Or were you drawn in by the incredible prowess of my subtle wishful thinking?
It could be either of those things, or you just like books and the name Bookly Basics must mean this blog has something to do with books, which it does! I promise and we'll get to that in a minute.
But how could I expect you to read my random thoughts on epic or non-epic books when you know nothing about me?
Exactly! I can't.

Alright, let's get into it.
My real name is Meagan, I'm 26 years old, South African, an English graduate and a book lover.
My hobbies are reading and writing... and that's it. Yup, just that, nothing much more adventurous other than flying off into worlds unknown.
Since I love reading and I love writing, I started this blog to practice these two things in my life everyday. What better way to do that than to review books?
So, obviously, that's what this blog will be about. I will do the reading and the writing and you will read my writing and decide if you want to buy the book we have now both done some reading on. Make sense? Great!
Now that we've done the introductions, the next post will be the first review. The book is a new release, the author...will be revealed in the blog post, don't get greedy.😑
